Activities

Orbit RV Park encourages guests to suggest new & different Activities! We have a lot going on all the time, especially during our peak season when the Park is full, but we are always eager to try something new! In different seasons, we have had everything from deep-sea fishing charters to poker to bingo to computer classes to an Academy Award nite.

Every Monday, at our Weekly Coffee & Pastry, the Park puts out a weekly calendar so everyone knows what events are planned for the week. Here’s one from the last week of September, 2015:

By the way, free coffee is served in the Clubhouse every morning at 7! On Mondays at 10, we put out pastries so guests can get together and chat about the upcoming week. We also have a tea chest with an assortment of teas and hot water available all day.

Our regularly recurring events include Potlucks on the second & fourth Thursdays of every month, chat & pizza snack every first & third Saturday at 7PM, pasta nite the first Tuesday of every month, and the Monday Coffee & Pastry. Those events run year-round!

One of our very special year-round events is our Friday Cooking Demo! At 2:00 every Friday, Orbit RV Park Staff demonstrates how to cook a tasty dish! Every week, it’s something different. We always taste a different cheese and a different wine. (Remember, at Orbit, something tasty is always going on!) Click here for the 2013-2014 season dishes; the 2014-2015 season dishes. It’s a fun get-together where you learn from my mistakes how not to do the dish!
